hawaii educators

write & Connect

bit.ly/hawaiiwrite

Hawaii educators are carving out time to gather in a creative, community space to focus on writing. We dedicate at least 75 minutes to independent writing. We are writing presentations, portfolios, applications, newsletters,  poems, articles, lessons, websites, memos, resources, applications, letters of recommendation, nominations, grants, National Board certification entries, curricula, books, reflections, or anything that we want to get started or finished now and not later.  At the end, an invited local author may share, or educators will chat about their writing.

The final week of each month!

1/31/24

Connect with educators, then independently go into your solo zone. Then, touch base once again at the end to discuss what youʻve accomplished!  We meet at HUB in OAHU, KAUAI, KONA or online via Zoom. Kahului, Maui location opening January 2024.

Connect for online or in-person on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Kona, Hawaiʻi island!

We are...

We are from Hawai'i independent, HIDOE & public charter schools.

We are registrars, part-time teachers, student teachers, non-classroom teachers, SPEDucators, Principals,  Music teachers,  VPs, State Office Teachers, GT teachers, Supt. Office support, Ed Tech Specialists, ELA teachers, generalists, science teachers, health teachers, art teachers and math teachers. We are program coordinators, EL Coordinators, curriculum coaches and Parent-Community Network coordinators, mentors, retired principals, veteran and new teachers.

We serve Hawaii's pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students.

When we communicate our insights and experiences, it is invaluable.

We are writers, speakers and changemakers.

it's about time for this!

As part of our W-rite community, we encourage sharing pieces and support one another with publishing options. Reach out if you'd like to have a conversation to get inspiration, next steps or resources to bring educator W-rite Sessions to your area.
