The Vivekananda Youth Circle (popularly known as VYC) was established in 1984 at the then Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur now known as Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. It is a voluntary, non-political and non-sectarian student organization of this institution working under the guidance of professors. Over the years VYC is providing excellent opportunities to those youths of the institution who are striving to work, think and build their character on the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
