Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information, including use of the device camera.
VRoom – Virtual Garage is a mobile application designed to help users scan a vehicle’s VIN or VIN barcode to retrieve factory information about that vehicle.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data.
The App uses the device camera solely for the purpose of:
Scanning a VIN barcode
Decoding and displaying vehicle factory information locally on the device
No images or video are recorded.
No camera data is uploaded, transmitted, or shared.
No camera data is stored on the device after the scan is processed.
The camera is used only when the user initiates a VIN scan.
VRoom – Virtual Garage:
Does NOT collect personal information
Does NOT store user data
Does NOT share data with third parties
Does NOT send any data off the device
All information retrieved from VIN scans stays only on the user’s device and is used exclusively for displaying vehicle information to the user.
The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data-processing services.
No third-party SDKs collect or process user information.
The App does not knowingly collect or store any personal data from children under 13. Since no data is transmitted or stored, the App is safe for use by all ages.
Because VRoom – Virtual Garage does not collect or transmit data, no personal information is at risk. All processing occurs locally on the user’s device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
