This project was done for Shri Dhanvantari Agro Herbs, an Ayurvedic brand producing traditional herbal hair oil named Keshadhara Taila. The goal was to design clear, attractive, and trustworthy packaging for a 100ml hair oil bottle and box. The product is rooted in Ayurveda, so the design needed to feel natural, herbal, and authentic, while still looking modern and shelf-ready.
While working on this project, We faced a few clear challenges:
Balancing information, visual appeal, and readability was the main challenge.
The product contains many Ayurvedic ingredients, which needed to be shown clearly without making the label look crowded
The brand required a traditional Ayurvedic feel, but not an old or dull design
Important information like usage, ingredients, FSSAI details, and pricing had to fit properly
The packaging needed to look good both as a box and as a bottle label
We started by choosing a soft green color palette to represent nature, herbs, and Ayurveda. Green also builds trust for herbal and wellness products.
For typography:
Used clear and readable fonts for product information
The product name Keshadhara Taila was given strong visual importance so it stands out on shelves
For visuals:
Natural elements like herbs, oil drops, and leaves were used to connect the design with the ingredients
The model image was added to visually communicate healthy, strong hair results
For layout:
Information was divided properly across sides of the box to avoid clutter
Icons like GMP, FSSAI, and recycling symbols were placed neatly to maintain a clean look
Ingredient illustrations were added at the bottom to make the product easy to understand even at a glance
Every design choice was made to keep the packaging simple, balanced, and practical for real-world use.
The final packaging design looks professional, natural, and market-ready.

The design is suitable for both retail shelves and online listings
Overall, the packaging communicates quality, tradition, and care, which matches the nature of the product.
The packaging was designed with a clear information hierarchy to handle complex Ayurvedic content without visual clutter. A balance between traditional cues and a modern layout helped maintain authenticity while keeping the design practical for today’s retail environment.
