Version 24.1 is now here! (3/5/2024)
View the README.html in VR Explorer 24.1 of Rift for list of new features. Now there is a Mixed-Reality mode on VRXMR Quest version. In Quest VRXMR main menu, click Scene->Eye to toggle color passthrough. Now VRStudio Brick Building supports optimized brick layout choosing bricks for 8x higher performance. Also this latest version features macros that can be run on events such as clicking on an object with Macro Control Panel component. Plus there are other bug fixes.

7/5/2023 - Running Man animation has been fixed so that grabbing a limb doesn't grab parent heirarchy (In both Quest and Rift).

NOTE: For now, in order for Interactive TV clicking to work, all the link packages must be downloaded first. In VR Explorer, go to Main Menu->Start->Web VR Packages->VRXWebDemoApps. Then click 'Download All Below'. This will take about a minute. Afterwards make sure it extracts itself. Then you can run the Interactive TV and after clicking you should be able to open the scenes. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Version 8.34 of VRExplorer includes:
You can now duplicate objects by grabbing them and clicking A (while still grabbing). This makes it very easy to lay down a house of bricks for example, you no longer need to click the "duplicate" button for every brick.
You can now explore folders from VR Forms. Right click a folder and click "Explore". In VR Explorer, the file browser will be opened.
There is now a start menu that lets you decide what file to open when you enter VR Explorer.
Bug in Compiling Code from VR Explorer now fixed.
Fixed a bug where packages containing ldrmakers didn't save.
Fixed Search bug in VR Explorer.
You can now add a Carousel from the "Add Objects" menu, and from the Generated menu. Carousels are like cylinders except each side can have its own image, and the top/bottom can have their own images.
For Packages (VRPZs) and VLNKs, you can now specify a custom thumbnail. In VRForms Right-click a file, and click "Choose Thumbnail".
You will in the future be able to publish files to a website (via FTP), and open files from a website.
Version 8.33 is now here (6/25/2021)
Version 8.33 of VRExplorer includes:
The Paint Brush now includes 3D Box, Egg, and Cylinder shapes, whose sizes can be controlled by the brush position.
When drawing 3d shapes with the brush, you automatically move up and down if you move the brush high or low enough.
You can now play MP3s, although larger MP3s might take some time to load.
When lofting there is now an "InflateScale" and "InflateOffset" LoftMode, which 'inflates' the corners from front to back of a shape.
You can now add moving water to a scene.
MineCraft texture map fixed so that only tree leaves cubes have transparency.
Generated Terrain now lets you specify the "Falloff Radius", the radius at which the mountain descent begins, and "Sine" FallOffMode mode is now available.
Lights now have on/off button in the context menu, and they turn black when off.
You can now change gravity to any direction and amount.
In VRForms there is a new "FlipFaces" property of a .OBJ file, in case you can only see the back side of a shape, not the one on the side of the camera.
There is now a CollisionStrength property of a scene which lets you specify how easy it is to knock objects down with projectiles.

Version 8.32 of VRExplorer includes:
VRForms now lets you define your own shaders and properties so someday the rendering can look photorealistic, have (ex. glowing/self-illuminated/reflection/bump map) effects, etc.
There is now a new MineCraft starter scene in Bookmarks, which has much sharper textures than before.
You can now add Terrain (randomly fractal generated landscape) to your scene.
There is now an Array maker script, which lets you automatically copy the selected objects N times in a specific direction
There is now a settings menu for the Auto Arrange script
With the paint brush, Spirals can now spiral vertically up/down.
VideoPlayer LoopMode now includes and defaults to AutoLoop, which automatically removes flicker between loops
Version 8.31 of VRExplorer (6/3/2021) includes:
There is now an OBJ Properties form in VRForms, when opening OBJ files, so you no longer need to edit OBJ files in notepad.
Added a Spiral shape to the PaintBrush
Added CameraMaker.MaxRecordingTime - so your camera will automatically cut after a certain duration
MP3 format is now supported, (although it is very slow to load (larger) MP3 files)
Added VRXVideoPlayer.StretchToLength - the video will time-stretch to last a certain length
Improved the popup (laser-over) info text of certain menus
Now after specifying more than one texture for an object material, you can specify duration to advance the image slideshow automatically.
Fixed bug where changing properties of native UnityEngine components (ex. Light properties) weren't loading properly.
Fixed LightMaker "Light details" button.
In VRLoft3D properties, moved 'Preview 3D Object' button conveniently to the top, and there is now a SplitPoints property which makes corner smoothing sharper (by default).

After attaching sounds to an object, you have full control over play, pause, next and select track, etc. (with the context menu by clicking Y over an object) (See Video Demos.ldr)
Now you can specify video files as the texture when adding a New Box.
Now you can share materials (such as TV videos) to other objects' materials (See Waterfalls.ldr)
New properties added to 3D Lofter
3D Lofter now can save created 3d object directly to scene LDX file.
In VRForms there is now a search menu item on the right-click popup menu of the selected folder.
In the VR Explorer "Scenes" Menu, there is now a "More" button on the lower left.
