Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics

I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to this, I worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Soft Matter and Biological Physics, Virginia Tech and International Centre for Theoretical Sciences. I obtained my PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bengaluru, India.

My broad areas of research interest lie in understanding non-equilibrium phenomena in diverse settings ranging from driven diffusive systems to biology-inspired systems. I am currently working on the problems concerning microbial community dynamics, phase transitions, interface growth and dynein motors.

I enjoy using a combination of Experiments, Computation and Theory, to explore scientific questions and open for collaborations.
