October Campaign Fights breast cancer well into November.

Since October was breast Cancer awareness month, Vista made sure to show their awareness. Prior to the October 20th football game, Vista Cheerleaders put up a large pink board with the mantra "Vista tackles breast Cancer," surrounded by smaller pink boards displaying each of the Varsity football players names next to a signature pink ribbon. Says Mary Sue, "These boards are definitely going to help support breast cancer. We're really going to make a difference." And make a difference they did, raising nearly $0 for breast cancer research, but raising awareness by a manifold as Vista Students arriving at school gaze upon the signs' rain washed glory even well into November. Says John Doe, who passes by the signs every weekday, "I feel like these signs are the best thing to happen to Vista, and there's no ulterior motives either like trying to raise attendance numbers to the football games.

S. S., former Webmaster of the Kickin' Cancer Club, has been removed from office due to her planned defacement of the monument. Says Kickin' Cancer President E. T., "Although there is much dissatisfaction here because of Kickin' Cancer was not contacted to help in the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, our dissatisfaction has nothing to do with the actions of S.S. Her actions are based solely on pent up rage from having to walk past that sign every day in the morning."
