If you want a versatile fitness companion that doubles as a portable audio source for daily life and school, choose VOVOAEWACH Watch; if you need serious hearing protection with superior noise isolation for loud environments like shooting ranges or construction sites, choose Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear. These two devices solve fundamentally different problems, and confusing their primary purposes leads to disappointment. One is a wearable tech gadget designed to keep you connected and active, while the other is a specialized safety tool engineered to shield your ears from dangerous decibels while still letting you hear voices clearly.
• VOVOAEWACH Watch: Its biggest strength is the innovative 2-in-1 design that integrates Bluetooth earbuds directly into a round smartwatch, offering heart rate monitoring and call capabilities in a sleek package. The trade-off is that it is not built for high-decibel environments, lacks dedicated active noise cancellation, and the battery life on the earbud component is limited compared to standalone units. This pick is for students and fitness enthusiasts who want a streamlined device for notifications and casual listening.
• Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear: Its biggest strength is its professional-grade electronic hearing protection, combining 29dB of passive noise reduction with active amplification for clear communication in extremely loud settings. The trade-off is that it is bulky, lacks the multifunctional health tracking features of a watch, and is overkill for quiet office or classroom use. This pick is for shooters, workshop workers, or anyone needing reliable protection against hazardous noise levels.
The VOVOAEWACH Watch is designed for the person who wants to minimize the number of gadgets they carry. It merges a standard smartwatch interface with a hidden pair of TWS earbuds, creating a unique form factor that appeals to those who value simplicity and style. The 1.32-inch OLED full touch screen serves as the primary interface, allowing users to monitor their health metrics continuously without fumbling for a phone. With features like 24-hour continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and a pedometer, it acts as a comprehensive fitness assistant. The inclusion of blood pressure monitoring adds another layer of utility for health-conscious users who track their vitals throughout the day.
For a student, this device offers a practical solution for managing school life. The ability to answer calls and receive notifications for apps like WhatsApp, WeChat, and Facebook directly from the wrist means you can stay informed during study sessions without constantly checking your pocket. The "transparency mode" implied by the open-fit nature of the watch allows ambient sound to pass through naturally, which is crucial for staying aware of your surroundings in a busy hallway or library. If you are looking for a device that helps you manage time, track steps, and listen to music while keeping your hands free, this is a strong contender. The IP67 waterproof rating ensures it can handle sweat during workouts or accidental splashes, making it durable enough for active school days.
However, this watch is not suitable for everyone. If your primary goal is deep bass immersion or high-fidelity audio quality, you might find the integrated earbuds limiting. They are designed for convenience and stability rather than audiophile-grade performance. Furthermore, while the watch itself has a substantial 250 mAh battery capable of up to 12 days of standby, the earbuds inside provide only about 3.5 hours of playback per charge cycle. This means you cannot rely on them for a long flight or an all-day shift without recharging the case within the watch. It is best suited for short bursts of activity, quick calls, and general fitness tracking rather than extended, uninterrupted listening sessions.

The Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear is a specialist tool built for one specific purpose: protecting your hearing in environments where sound levels exceed safe limits. Unlike standard earbuds that simply play music, these devices utilize advanced memory foam cushions available in three sizes (S/L/M) to create a tight seal around the ear canal. This physical barrier provides up to 29dB of passive noise reduction, which is critical when standing near firearms or heavy machinery. The active noise cancellation technology works in tandem to further dampen ambient noise, bringing the environment down to a manageable 85dB level. This makes it possible to be present in a noisy setting without suffering permanent hearing damage.
What sets these earbuds apart for the serious user is the ENC noise-canceling microphone and voice amplification feature. In a gun range or a bustling workshop, background roar can drown out instructions or conversation. These earbuds amplify human voices specifically, ensuring that commands from instructors or conversations with teammates remain crystal clear even when the surrounding noise is deafening. The MFB button allows for instant switching between modes, so you don't have to remove the ear protection to speak or adjust settings. For someone attending a class on outdoor survival, working in a construction zone, or visiting a shooting range, this functionality is indispensable. The IPX6 water resistance rating means they can withstand powerful water splashes and heavy sweat, making them robust enough for rigorous outdoor activities.
Battery life is another area where these earbuds excel for their intended use case. With a total playtime of up to 70 hours provided by the charging case, you will rarely face interruptions due to power loss. A single charge delivers 7 hours of continuous use, which is sufficient for a full day of training or work. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity ensures a stable connection with a range of up to 65 feet, giving you freedom of movement without dropouts. While they lack the health-tracking features of a smartwatch, their focus on audio clarity and safety makes them the superior choice for anyone whose daily routine involves exposure to loud noises. They are not designed for casual listening in quiet rooms but are essential gear for maintaining hearing health in hazardous conditions.

• Best for fitness tracking and health monitoring → VOVOAEWACH Watch. Only the watch includes continuous heart rate, sleep, and step counters in a wearable format.
• Best for seamless notifications in class → VOVOAEWACH Watch. The direct call answering and message sync on the wrist is ideal for students who want to stay connected without distraction.
• Best for long-duration usage without charging → Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear. The 70-hour total battery life far exceeds the 3.5-hour earbud limit of the watch.
• Best for compact, stylish design → VOVOAEWACH Watch. The integrated 2-in-1 design looks like a modern fashion accessory, whereas the Qozybuds are bulkier protective gear.
• Best for clear communication in loud environments → Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear. The voice amplification and ENC mic ensure you hear people over gunfire or machinery, which the watch cannot do.
• Best for water resistance during intense sweat → Both are excellent, but Qozybuds (IPX6) are slightly more rugged for heavy industrial use, while the VOVOAEWACH (IP67) handles rain and hand washing well.
• Best for battery longevity on a single charge → Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear. Seven hours of continuous play beats the 3.5-hour window of the watch's earbuds.
After analyzing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the VOVOAEWACH Watch if my priority was a daily driver for school and fitness. The ability to wear a smartwatch that also functions as earbuds is a clever solution for students who want to reduce clutter and stay connected without carrying multiple devices. It strikes a perfect balance for everyday scenarios where hearing protection isn't the main concern. However, if my day involved visiting a shooting range or working in a noisy workshop, I would immediately switch to the Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear. Their specialized engineering for hearing safety is unmatched, and no amount of style can replace the need for proper ear protection in dangerous environments. Ultimately, the watch wins for versatility and school use, while the earbuds win for safety and professional application.
The VOVOAEWACH Watch uses Bluetooth 5.0, which offers stable connectivity for casual gaming, but the Qozybuds feature Bluetooth 6.0 with improved speed and range, making them better for lag-free audio in competitive scenarios.
While the watch has an IP67 waterproof rating and can handle sweat and rain, it is rated for water resistance up to 1 meter, so it is not suitable for swimming laps or submersion beyond shallow depths.
Yes, the Qozybuds Electronic Shooting Ear supports standard Bluetooth protocols and is compatible with various wireless devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, thanks to their upgraded Bluetooth 6.0 technology.
The watch features a silicone strap and a lightweight metal case weighing only 2 ounces, designed for comfortable, all-day wear without causing fatigue during long school hours.
