"The world is changing fast with technology driving chaotic shifts. I as a neighbor, New Haven alum, tech leader, and parent know our students have the potential to beat the odds and I am uniquely qualified to help our students prepare for a rapidly changing world."
As a software engineer, local entrepreneur, and active parent, I bring a unique mix of technical leadership, business discipline, and personal dedication to our school board. Our schools need leaders who understand both the heritage of our community and the future skills our kids need to thrive.
With the changing world our kids need more accessibility to Robotics, Public Speaking, Theater, Digital Animation, Dance, Music at early ages nurturing their creative mindset.
My name is (Vick) Charandeep Singh Tatlah I walked the halls of New Haven Unified from elementary school all the way through high school. Our New Haven School District gave me the foundation to graduate from San Jose State, build a software engineering career at Google and Salesforce, start my own businesses, and instilled the lifelong love of learning to now pursue my Master’s in Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence at Georgia Tech.
Now, as a parent with a son in an NHUSD elementary classroom, this mission is personal. I know what our schools are capable of when we root for our kids and invest in our teachers.
I’m running for School Board to bring real-world problem-solving, STEAM innovation, Creative mindset, and unwavering integrity to our district. Our teachers shaped my life, and together, we can ensure every student in New Haven gets the world-class education they deserve.
