Disk Copy was Apple's disk image creation and mounting tool that shipped with Mac OS starting from 1988 (System 6) up to 2002 (OSX 10.2). The last version released is beta but works fine, especially that it could mount and allow editing of Mac OS X uncompressed .DMG disk image files under Mac OS 9.1 or later.

Script Descriptions

Create self-mounting image will prompt the user to select a disk image, verify it, then let the user save it as a self-mounting image

Floppy insert preferences will prompt the user to decide what action Disk Copy will take if a floppy disk is inserted while Disk Copy is the foreground application. The "Make an Image" button will result in the floppy being saved as a disk image, and the "Copy" button will result in the floppy being copied and restored onto another floppy.

Segment Image will ask the user how they want to segment an image (by size or number of parts), prompt the user to select a disk image, verify it, then save the image segmented.

Using the Script Editor or other AppleScript script editor, the contents of the scripts can be viewed.

For me, the solution was discovering that you have to add an Empty optical drive in the virtual machine settings! If you try to "help" by pre-loading the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso, it doesn't work. The shortcut on the Devices menu "Insert Guest Additions CD image ..." wants to find an empty optical drive to use!

The problem many times that happens is that the iso file you installed is already mounted. Just go to Devices-Optical Device-Remove Virtual Disk from Guest installation. Then Manually mount the Guestadditions.iso file by going to Devices-Optical Drive-Choose Disk image then go to the folder where you installed ubuntu, find the guestadditions.iso file and then mount it. Once mounted, simply again click the Devices-Install Guest additions, enter your userID password for Ubuntu and the wizard will then continue to install the guest additions :)

Same error for me with Macos. I was hitting the error Could not mount the media/drive '/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' (VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED). The guest additions iso was already downloaded previously. All steps are done within VM.

For windows 10 as host start the VM click on devices --> Optical Devices --> choose disk image --> go to C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox --> select VBoxGuestAdditions.iso from there -->Click Ok --> A small window will appear Click Force Unmount --> now again click on devices with ubuntu logged in -->Click on insert Guest Additions CD image --> click run --> after the successfull insert your ubuntu will start coming on fullscreen.

Mount Image Pro v6 [ ](^- could only get it to run by this version with an Anti Dongle patch)

BUT Mount Image Pro can't mount Ext4 files (it's just good for *.iso, *.dmg, *.vhd and some more forensic images)

OSFMount doesn't have drop'n'drag support - also the use of OSFMount.com is not that simple to easy associate it with *.ext4 or *.img files to mount them.(it required addition parameters)So here is a cmd-script OSFMount.cmd

Well the next free drive letter is automatically chosen. If you've mounted more than 4 images the script will reset and unmount the others. (Change the line with MaxDrivesCount=4 in the script if you need more or less. )

The problem is you are trying to run an imagen that does not exists. If you are executing a Dockerfile, the image was not created until Dockerfile pass with no errors; so when Dockerfile tries to run the image, it can't find it. Be sure you have no errors in the execution of your scripts.

TP-Link 840 V6.2 link for tftp-recovery is not accessible. Can you plelase have a check once again.

squashfs-sysupgrade image hasn't worked via GUI upgrade menu for me, so I decided to use it for tftp flash by renaming it to tp_recovery.bin ( the file being requestes via tftp) and so I bricked the 840N v6.2 router. Hopefully the tftp image would fix it. The original tp-link firmware doesn't work to be restored via tftp either.

-ramips-mt76x8-tplink_tl-wr840n-v6.2-squashfs-tftp-recovery.bin

Try this. Sorry but i just do not have currently 6.2 anymore for testing.

I just compiled latest. If this not working better to remove the files.

Let me know ....

squashfs-sysupgrade can not be used for tftp its different size and you need to extra pad 64k.

squashfs-sysupgrade does not work from web interface ? What is the error ?

Thanks, but this tftp-recovery image still does not work. No problems that you can't tests the images. I can test them direclty on my 840 v6.2. I will waste much more time and nerves to compile it, so..

squashfs-sysupgrade was getting the typical user error, which most users are facing. Something like the image is not for this router. I can't test that anymore. Only via tftp now.

i wanna use ur compile and install sqm & nodogsplash, is it fit?

if not fit i wanna build image by my self. but link for image builder files is cant be access too

hope you have time to fix it

my suggestion, please upload your image builder to github, so every changes u make is ready to use to us, i following ur guide and when i run make info, i still cant find image for v6

Note: -link/tp-link_tl-wr840n_v5 needs updating ! Also _devices/432_warning is not entirely true. Because there are lots of unneeded packages you do not need like tar/gz for example etc....

My image openwrt-ramips-mt76x8-tplink_tl-wr840n-v6.2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin is 3604754 bytes big. This is mtd partitions:

We can still build version 6.0,6.1,6.2,14 versus latest openwrt and have enough free space so we can store settings during restarts. I can upload dts/02_network and mt76x8.mk if someone is interested in making patches. Also i can upload good .config and kernel config files where i cut things we do not need like ca-bundle (over 100K compressed) and similar stuff. Also my build has ipv6 and luci/upnp/extra nat modules included.

This is my final image size:

You can create a disk image that includes the data and free space on a physical disk or connected device, such as a USB device. For example, if a USB device or volume is 80 GB with 10 GB of data, the disk image will be 80 GB in size and include data and free space. You can then restore that disk image to another volume.

I'm not able to mount an ISO image on the local hard drive within the vSphere Web Client 5.5. Is that even possible with the web client? I have two possibilities: connect with the CD drive of the host or mounting an image on the datastore.

Curiosly I don't have the option to connect the CD/DVD drive with an image file although I installed the integration plug-in. I'm using Windows 7 with the latest version of Google Chrome (34.0.1847.131 m).

Recently there has been some questions on the forums and Twitter as to how to mount forensic disk images that were captured from Mac system that implemented 4k block sizes. A few years ago, Mac systems started to use 4k blocks instead of 512 byte block sizes. This has caused some issues where you need to mount the image to do analysis without a major forensic suite. BlackBag wrote a good blog article on this last month however I hope to expand on it just a bit to include E01 files and FileVault encryption scenarios. be457b7860
