If you want a robust, sports-focused wireless headset for pc and outdoor workouts that handles water and heavy movement, choose Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones; if you need a specialized, under-pillow sleep aid for side sleepers who want white noise without ear pressure, choose Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. These two devices sit at opposite ends of the bone conduction spectrum, serving completely different masters. One is built to survive a triathlon or a rainy run while streaming audio to your laptop; the other is engineered to disappear beneath a pillow and help you drift off into a deep slumber without disturbing a partner. Trying to use the sleep speaker for your daily commute or the sport headphones for your nightly wind-down will lead to frustration. I have analyzed the specifications, design intent, and feature sets of both units to help you decide which tool fits your specific life, particularly when looking for the best earphones for pc setups or a dedicated headphone for pc gaming and work that doesn't compromise safety.
• Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones: Its biggest strength is the rugged IP68 waterproof rating and 32GB internal storage for phone-free music during intense activities like swimming; its trade-off is the lack of active noise cancellation and a bulkier form factor designed for durability rather than stealth. This pick is for athletes, runners, and commuters who need situational awareness and durability.
• Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under: Its biggest strength is the ultra-slim, flat profile that slips under a pillow with zero ear contact, paired with a built-in white noise machine for insomnia relief; its trade-off is that it lacks Bluetooth connectivity for general media playback once the battery depletes and offers mono audio only. This pick is for light sleepers, couples sharing a bed, and travelers seeking a silent, non-intrusive sleep solution.
The Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones are clearly engineered for the active lifestyle. This isn't just splash resistance; the device is designed to be fully submersible in up to 2 meters of water for 2 hours. That specification changes everything for someone who swims laps, runs in heavy rain, or trains in sweat-heavy environments. You aren't just buying headphones; you are buying gear that can withstand the harshest conditions without failing. The titanium frame adds another layer of resilience, rated to survive 10,000 bends and snaps back instantly even after being subjected to 200lbs of force. For anyone who has ever snapped a cheap plastic headphone band during a workout, this durability is a game-changer.
The inclusion of 32GB of internal storage is a massive advantage for those who want to go phone-free. You can store up to 8,000 songs directly on the device, allowing you to leave your smartphone in the locker or at home while you hit the gym or go for a long run. The switch between Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode is handled via a double-click multi-function button, making it seamless to toggle based on whether you are carrying your phone or not. This makes it an excellent choice for a wireless headset for pc users who also want to take their audio setup outdoors without needing a constant connection to a mobile device. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures a stable link up to 15 meters away from your source, covering most living spaces and office areas effectively.

In stark contrast, the Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under is not a wearable headphone in the traditional sense; it is a sleep aid. The entire product philosophy revolves around comfort for side sleepers. Traditional earbuds dig into the ear canal when you lie on your side, causing pain and forcing you to wake up. This device solves that by being ultra-flat and lightweight, measuring just 4.8 inches in length and fitting discreetly under your pillow. The design uses smooth, rounded-edge ABS material and fabric that feels gentle against the skin, ensuring that you won't feel any pressure points throughout the night. It delivers sound through bone conduction vibrations directly to your inner ear, bypassing the eardrum entirely. This allows you to enjoy audio without anything touching your ear, which is a revelation for people who suffer from ear fatigue or simply hate wearing earbuds to bed.
The built-in white noise machine is a standout feature that separates this unit from standard Bluetooth speakers. It comes preloaded with soothing sounds like rain, ocean waves, fan noise, and pure white noise. This helps mask external disturbances like snoring partners, traffic, or creaky house noises that often disrupt sleep cycles. The fact that it operates independently of a phone in white noise mode means you don't need to keep your phone near your head all night, reducing potential radiation concerns or the temptation to check notifications. The battery supports all-night play, and the adjustable auto-off timer ensures you don't waste power if you fall asleep quickly. For frequent travelers, the compact size makes it easy to pack in a carry-on, providing a familiar sleep environment in strange hotel rooms where street noise or thin walls might otherwise ruin your rest.
This device is strictly for sleep and relaxation. It does not offer stereo audio; the output is mono, and the frequency response is tuned for speech and ambient sounds rather than rich music production. The latency is incredibly low at 1 millisecond, which is great for syncing with video content if you were to watch something before bed, but the primary use case is clearly auditory masking and sleep induction. If you are looking for a best earphones for pc to use during a workday or a gaming session, this device is not the right tool. It lacks the directional audio cues, volume control nuances, and microphone capabilities needed for communication. However, for the specific problem of falling asleep while lying on your side, it addresses a niche that almost no other audio product fills.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for swimming and water sports → Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones. Only the Voistek model carries the IP68 certification allowing full submersion, making it the only viable option for pool workouts or rainy runs.
• Best for phone-free workouts → Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones. With 32GB of internal storage for 8,000 songs, you can leave your phone behind entirely, whereas the Morseatooke requires a phone for Bluetooth streaming (except for the limited white noise mode).
• Best for couples sharing a bed → Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. The "no leakage" design ensures your partner hears nothing, while the Voistek's open-ear design projects sound outward, potentially disturbing a sleeping partner if used at volume.
• Best for outdoor safety awareness → Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones. The open-ear architecture lets you hear traffic and surroundings, a vital safety feature for running and cycling that the under-pillow speaker cannot provide.
• Best for travel portability → Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. At 3.2 ounces and with a slim profile, it fits easily into luggage pockets, whereas the Voistek is larger and designed to stay on your head during activity.
• Best for PC connectivity versatility → Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones. The Bluetooth 5.3 range and stability make it suitable for connecting to desktops, laptops, and tablets for various tasks, unlike the Morseatooke which is optimized for single-device pairing.
• Best for durability and impact resistance → Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones. The titanium frame and rubber construction are built to withstand drops and bends, offering a lifespan suited for rough handling that the delicate under-pillow speaker does not match.
I would buy the Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones for my daily life because they offer genuine utility across multiple scenarios, from working out to commuting. The ability to swim with them and the robust build quality mean I am getting a device that works hard and lasts long. While the Morseatooke is a clever gadget for a specific sleep problem, the Voistek serves as a versatile piece of technology that enhances an active lifestyle. For a headphone for pc setup, the Voistek provides the necessary connectivity and durability to handle a dynamic environment, whereas the Morseatooke remains a bedroom accessory. If your priority is a wireless headset for pc that you can also wear outside, the Voistek is the clear winner. I recommend checking the current price on Amazon to see how it compares to your budget, but functionally, it is the more comprehensive tool.
FAQ
Are these bone conduction headphones good for using with a computer?
Only the Voistek Bone Conduction Headphones are rated IP68 waterproof and can be submerged up to 2 meters for 2 hours. You must use the built-in MP3 player mode underwater since Bluetooth signals do not travel through water. The Morseatooke speaker is not waterproof and should never be exposed to water.
Both devices use bone conduction technology to minimize sound leakage compared to traditional speakers. However, the Morseatooke is specifically marketed for couples to ensure partners hear nothing, while the Voistek's open-ear design naturally projects some sound into the air to maintain situational awareness, which may be audible to very close neighbors.
The Voistek offers up to 8 hours of continuous playback, which covers a full day of training or commuting, though you will need to charge it regularly. The Morseatooke is designed for all-night sleep sessions and includes an auto-off timer to prevent battery drain, but it does not specify a continuous hour count beyond the "all-night" duration.
