This Privacy Policy describes how Vogue Serve ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our waiter/restaurant-service mobile application.
Vogue Serve is a staff-facing application used by restaurant personnel (waiters, terminal operators) to manage orders, tables, and service on behalf of a restaurant business ("the Business"). If you are a customer of a restaurant using Vogue Serve, this policy does not apply to you directly — please contact that restaurant regarding their own privacy practices.
Account & Activation Information
License/activation key used to link the app installation to a specific restaurant account
Terminal name/ID assigned to the device
Login credentials (username and password) used by staff to sign in
Shift and session identifiers
Camera
The App requests camera access solely to scan the QR code used during license activation. Camera images are not stored or transmitted beyond reading the QR code.
Photo Library
The App may request access to your photo library if a feature requires selecting or uploading an image (e.g., item or profile images). No photos are accessed without an explicit user action.
Location
The App may request location access to support service and delivery-related features tied to the restaurant's operations. Location is only accessed while the relevant feature is in use.
Device & Usage Information
Device type and operating system (used in API request headers)
App version and build number
IP address and general diagnostic/log data generated through normal use of the App
Push Notification Data
A device push token is generated and used to deliver order and service-related notifications to staff devices.
Order & Operational Data
Order details, table/section assignments, item selections, discounts, and other operational data entered by staff in the course of using the App. This data belongs to, and is controlled by, the Business operating the restaurant.
We use the information described above to:
Authenticate staff and activate the App for a specific restaurant account
Provide core functionality: order taking, table management, billing, and service coordination
Send push notifications relevant to order and shift activity
Maintain and improve the security, stability, and performance of the App
Comply with legal obligations, where applicable
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Information collected through the App is shared with:
The Business that operates the restaurant using Vogue Serve, as the data controller for order and staff activity data
Our backend service provider, which processes data on our behalf to operate the App (hosted infrastructure used to run the App's servers)
Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality and to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including encrypted network transport and access controls) to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
