Vodafone-h-500-s Firmware Download WORK

Hello everyone,

Im new using openwrt. My first instalation is on sercomm h500-s.

I did change firmware from Vodafone to openwrt successfully, then I did continue enabling quantenna 5g , but at some point it didn't let me activate tftp, so I gave up, and in uci console tried to send oem firmware back to router with command. It sended the knew firmware and waited 45 min. Untill I switched off router.

Now I cannot start router, it keeps looping quantenna uboot at server 1.1.1.1 having ip 1.1.1.2. I made uart cable and screened/dev/ ttyUSB0 115200 and saw a boot loop.

I don't know how to recover back, I'm sorry I'm new with this.

I cant stop the boot loop to enter any command or don't know how to sent a firmware to the router.

Please I'm asking for your help to get back to Vodafone firmware.

I agree, but question is how do I manage on stabilise it, if I could send any command to router then I could send new firmware.

But since it keeps looping, is not giving any ip, and can't stop loop to enter console...

P.d. One thing I just discovered, when powering on the router, it disays green led first top one, and starts uboot loop. But if I press wps button for 3 seconds, then a red led light comes on, and stays there until power off, but screen keeps on uboot looping, so I tried to put firmware to usb, connected to router and switched off and on and wps button....nothing happens...

I keep on trying...

We'll need to get admin access to the OEM firmware web interface. Therefore if you don't know the admin password, first a factory reset to the default config is required, otherwise start at step 4.

So the router has some vodafone firmware on it and I understand i should log in and go to setting>firmware upgrade but the router has many blocks on it and the option fir firmware upgrade is not there even when i log in as "expert" i cannot log in as admin as i dont have the password for 'admin' and im not sure there is an 'admin' user. I can save the configuration file and i can restore settings with a previous config file by uploading it, the config files are encrypted, dont know with which algo so i cant look inside.

Is there anyway that I can bypass all these restrictions and install a third party firmware? (just by the way the router is not my main router, it is just a spare router that I would like to install custom firmware on, the isp that I received the router from is NOT my isp either)

I have two Deco M4 at home, and since firmware 1.5 version the internet connection through the Deco network is very unstable, it's impossible e.g. to use a VPN, the streaming quality is really poor, and WhatsApp or FaceTime calls keep breaking up and even disconnecting.

@ACV Since the release of this firmware, I am also having constant network instability, the network slows down to unusable speeds or devices cant connect to it period. I had this product for over a year before this update and it was perfect, no issues. Now its incredibly frustrating and almost unusable.

definitivamente nada. La utilidad de Sercomm no vale ya que solo acepta firmware .bin y el de Vodafone es img. Ya lo dejo por imposible, como tengo una instalacin con cable de red hacia una de las habitaciones , pondr entre medio un switch gigabit y tirar otro cable hacia la otra habitacin. quera ahorrarme esta instalacin.

El ultimo Firmware de este router tiene band steering, quiero decir, las dos redes en un mismo nombre?, esque tengo uno ahi guardado en un cajon y me vendria bien para usarlo para otro operador, siempre vi que tuvo buen rendimiento, aunque claro, de ser asi, necesitaria que volviearis a poner donde descargar el ultimo firmware porque veo que todos los enlaces estan mas que caidos.

Hola, es posible que volvis a colocar el enlace al firmware? He entrado como admin y Vodafone me ha actualizado el firmware, pensaba que con quitarle el tr069 era suficiente para que no entrarn, pero veo que no y ya no puedo volver atrs, me han deshabilitado el puerto USB que necesito
