Our Mission: "Community, Belonging, Connection"

Valley Middle School of STEM Parent Teacher Organization (VMSS PTO) is a nonprofit, volunteer parent/teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians, and staff at VMSS. Our purpose is to support families, students, and staff by facilitating open communication, organizing fundraisers, providing support for teachers and staff, and creating an overall positive learning environment. 

We fulfill this purpose through a variety of activities:

Communication

Open communication and transparency is key to fostering a sense of community and trust. Monthly PTO Meetings, communication via various school outlets, and continuous interaction with administration/staff will keep parents connected and informed.

Fundraisers

VMSS PTO-sponsored fundraisers will be organized throughout the school year to help raise much-needed monies to support teachers and students.

Volunteers

Parent volunteers are crucial to the success of our organization and allow us to support our school community. There are many ways to get involved ranging from becoming a board member, chairing one of our fundraising committees, or simply volunteering a few hours. Click HERE to learn more and sign up!
