New MP3 player originally was recognized and opened on my Macbook. I did a system update to Macbook and now when I plug in the MP3 player to the usb port, nothing happens. The Mp3 player is compatible with Mac. Also, I've plugged other things into the USB and they are all recognized, just not the MP3 player. Help.....

I recommend to connect the MP3 player in more than one USB or USB-C port and see if that helps. This will help determine if there's a specific port that is not working. Finding UltraHD player software for Mac may be a challenge, and expensive, typically for Windows, or written in China (DVDFab). In the latter sense, and for privacy reasons, I won't even run their trial, much less purchase the expensive software.
Update: I reset my phone and went to a meeting. When I came out, the music player was on my lock screen. No bluetooth, no media was played. It just appeared. My next step is to delete the music app and reinstall it. But I think I'll lose all my playlists. ?
