Vitra ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information within the Vitra mobile application.
Core Privacy Principle: Vitra is designed as an "offline-first" application. Your health and personal data are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
We collect the following categories of data to provide the app’s core health and fitness services:
Health & Fitness Data: Habits, calorie intake, food logs, sleep duration, mood, and workout history.
Body Measurements: Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) inputs (age, gender, weight, height).
Usage Data: On-device AI predictions for habits and sleep.
Device Permissions: Camera (for barcode scanning), Notifications (for habit reminders).
Vitra uses on-device Artificial Intelligence to provide streak predictions and sleep insights. This processing happens locally on your hardware. We do not have access to the results of these predictions or the underlying data used to generate them.
Local Storage: All health logs and personal profiles are stored on your device's internal storage.
Third-Party Services: We use Open Food Facts for food database searches. When you scan a barcode, the barcode string is sent to their API to retrieve nutritional info. No personal identifiers are attached to these requests.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or lease your health data to third parties.
India (DPDP Act 2023): We act as a Data Fiduciary. Since data is stored locally, you maintain "Right to Erasure" and "Right to Correction" by simply editing or deleting data within the app or uninstalling it.
EU/UK (GDPR): The legal basis for processing your health data is Explicit Consent, which you provide by entering data into the app.
California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "share" or "sell" personal information as defined by California law.
Because we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot delete it for you. To delete all data, you must:
Use the "Clear Data" option in the App Settings.
Uninstall the application.

Since Vitra stores data locally, we are not responsible for data loss due to device damage, uninstallation, or factory resets. We recommend manual exports if available.
The "Dark Neon" design, app name, and AI algorithms are the exclusive property of the Vitra development team. You may not reverse-engineer or clone the application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its AI predictions.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
We may update these terms occasionally. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
