INTRODUCTION

The purpose of the trust shall be charitable for the welfare of general public belonging to any community irrespective of their caste, sex, region, community sect, creed and religion.

OBJECTIVE

To a work for empowering below poverty line people by providing free education , tuition facility , necessary facility / creating infra structure for them .
To help handicapped peoples by providing necessary facilities and providing employment etc.
To organize medical camps and poly-clinics at a regular intervals the rural areas of the country with a view to provide rural masses , access to basic medical relief with a special mission to see that they do not have to rush to big cities for ailment even though its presentation and redress al is achievable and also feasible at their own doorsteps
To endeavor to provide medical and educational facilities to poor people with attention on those living in slums and also to provide maximum attention to child , so that we could exploit the tallent of a large section of society .
To look after the old age people and other destitute by providing them rehabilitation centers
To work for development oft tribal people living in north eastern states in the area of education and medical sectors .
To purchase / acquire the land and / or the building in the name of the trust and make construction there upon.
To make the best efforts towards the total eradication of cancer , aids and other terminal diseases by providing people knowledge and other preventive measures
To make an all out effort to help , support and provide relief material to people effected due to natural disaster like Tsunami , earthquake and hurricanes.

Our mission is the bringing of educational opportunity and to promote health and social rights to those to whom such opportunities have previously been denied to poverty family circumstances or oppression.

# The Trust aims to work with the most marginalized members of the community and help create a safer environment for all Men Women & children , especially vulnerable children, and to provide support and encouragement to help improve their living and social conditions, through rights-based and ethically sound education, empowerment programmed, vocational training, protection and care and financial independence initiatives in order to help them recognize their importance and value as a responsible individual within civil society.

ABOUT US

Our Educational journey started on 25/03/2012 on the Tenth Commemoration of Late.Subramani by providing writing materials and notebooks to the students and then in June of the same academic year free tutoring classes were started for school students through Subramani-Ponnammal Education Trust and then providing notebooks to the students every year. Distribution of Notebooks, School bags, Educational tours Screening of Biographical films of national leaders and Conducting National Events. In 15/6/2014 more than 30 students were taken on educational tour to Kodaikanal. We are also conducting some events for rehabilitation of mentally affected. Pongal Festival, Republic Day, Independence Day and important days also we are celebrating among the students and thereby creating their awareness of Nationalism and Culture.

Subramani-Ponnammal Education Trust renamed as Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust registered under Registration Department, Government of Tamilnadu in 14/1/2015. S.Pandikumar as the Executive Trustee and Engineer M.Rajkumar, Hepziba Grace, Karthik and Rajkumar as Trustees are working in this trust. In 22/7/2015 with the financial help of Engineer Rajkumar & Hepziba 40 students were given School bags and Notebooks & Writing materials are given with the financial help of S.Pandikumar Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust. We are helping the required financial assistance to school and college students by Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust. Doing Educational Activities, Providing Job placement counseling, Providing Free English speaking training, Providing free shorthand training, Providing free coaching for competitive exams and Activities like counseling for physical health and mental health of students. Also being done and individual psychological counseling is being provided from July 2021 Sankaranarayanan Memorial Public Library is also functioning as a part of Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust. This library is used by students preparing for competitive exams and school and college students. On 26/11/2021, on the occasion of Indian Constitution Day, Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust, Theni District Revolutionary Youth Association and Periyakulam Government Hospital organized a massive blood donation camp on 6 12 2021, on the occasion of the 65th birth anniversary of the great jurist Dr.Ambedkar, a free mental health camp in association with Gandhi Siddha Clinic. Conducted by Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust 24/12/2021 Free eye checkup camp for public on Periyar's Commemoration Day. Eye glasses were distributed to public in that camp. In 14/4/2022 Free dental treatment camp, Free eye checkup camp on Dr. Ambedkar's birth anniversary and kabaadi athletes needed Sports competitions were conducted for the students by providing clothes and prizes were also distributed. Through the Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust, people were given free face masks for Herbal drink (KabasuraKudineer) during the covid epidemic and vaccination camps. On the occasion of Women's Equality Day, a grand function was organized by Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust. In this event, women who have achieved in the fields of politics, art, medicine, education, police and many other fields were honored as special guests. In the event, Ambedkar Gym, Periyar Science Laboratory, Karl-Marx Public E-Service Center, Saplings Plantation was held on Friday 26/8/2022 followed by second Annual Blood Donation Camp on the floor of New Vijaya Hotel in collaboration with Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust Revolutionary Youth Association, Periyakulam Government Hospital to commemorate the Constitution Day of India. We are continuously organizing many events to motivate school and college students and protect the environment by planting saplings. Vithaikal People Empowerment Trust has been conducting a series of events to provide opportunities to students to get education and to improve their skills and provide them with employment opportunities. We have created job opportunities for 300 job seekers.

We are continuously creating awareness among the public and acting as a guide for the younger community. We are thanking English Teacher's Noble Cheladurai, Thammuthu Engineer's Arunkumaraguru, Anandakumar, Professor's Sivashankar and Asaithambi are playing an important role in helping us in this journey.
