The advent of Super Computers providing high end computing power for research and development, thus the age of machines have come. Now more than ever researchers have the ability to use this technological edge to understand fields of study, that were once not possible. Computer Vision coupled with Data Science is one such possibility.

In my research I am working towards understanding the human visual perception, using signal processing. Every Image has a salient feature which is deciphered by our brain, we have tried mimicking these features using software like filters and using our understanding of visual perception. However my goal is not just mimicking these perception but making the machine understand these patterns and predict the salient features without the use of filters. I am planning to achieve this goal by training the machine using computer generated ground truths for various images.
