This Privacy Policy applies to the Visio application ("the App"), published on the Apple App Store and Google Play, accessible from mobile devices.
1. General
Visio Studio ("we", "us" or "our") acts as the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). This policy explains how personal data is collected, processed, and used in connection with the App.
2. Data We Collect, Process and Use
2.1 User-provided content
To generate images, the App processes:
• Text prompts you enter — sent to our own AI service (ApiHub) to produce an image.
• Reference images (optional) you select from your device — sent directly to our own AI service (ApiHub) to produce an image. No third-party file-hosting service is used.
• Style and aspect ratio selections — sent alongside the prompt.
Reference images and prompts are not stored beyond what is required to deliver the result. Generated images and metadata are stored locally on your device only.
2.1.1 Reference Images and Face Data
Sio AI / Visio does not collect, detect, or store face data or any biometric identifiers, and contains no facial recognition or face-detection technology. You may optionally select a photo from your device to use as a reference image. The App does not analyze the photo for faces or extract any facial features.
If the photo you choose happens to contain a face, that image is sent to ApiHub — our own AI service, operated by us — solely to generate the image you requested. It is processed transiently for that single purpose, is not used to identify any person, is not retained after the result is delivered, and is not shared with any other third party. Generated images are stored only on your device.
2.2 Automatically collected data
When the App is used, the following may be transmitted to our service providers for delivery and improvement:
• Device data — device type (iPhone/iPad/Android model), operating system version, language, time zone.
• App usage events — feature taps, generation attempts, error events. Used for analytics and improving the App.
• IP address — used by our service providers to deliver requests and detect abuse.
• Crash reports — anonymous diagnostic data when the App crashes.
2.3 What we do NOT collect
• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, or financial information.
• We do not require an account to use the App.
• We do not collect, detect, or store face data or biometric identifiers, and we use no facial recognition technology.
• We do not store reference images after the AI generation completes.
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers or IDFA.
3. Our AI Service and Third-Party Services
3.1 Our own AI service
• ApiHub (api.apihub.today) — our own AI image-generation service, operated by us. It is not a third party. Data sent: your text prompt, your optional reference image, and generation parameters (width, height, style, aspect ratio). It is used only to generate the image you request.
3.2 Third-party services
To deliver the App's features, we also use:
• Cloudflare — purpose: network delivery for our AI service. Data shared: IP, request metadata.
Each third-party provider has its own privacy practices. The App sends only the data required to fulfill your generation request.
4. AI-Generated Content
• Generated images may be inaccurate, biased, or unexpected.
• You are responsible for how you use generated content.
• You agree NOT to generate content that is illegal, sexually explicit (especially involving minors), violent, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. See our Terms of Use for the full list.
• Tap the Report button on any generated result to flag objectionable content. We respond to reports within 24 hours.
5. Local Storage
• Generated images are saved to the App's local sandbox storage.
• Settings (default style, ratio, auto-save) are stored in the device's local preferences.
• You can delete any generated image at any time by long-pressing it in the Gallery.
• Uninstalling the App removes all local data permanently.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — Performance of the agreement (delivering the AI generation feature you requested).
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — Legitimate interests (improving the App, preventing abuse).
• Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — Legal obligations (responding to lawful requests).
7. Data Retention
• Prompts and reference images sent to our AI service (ApiHub) are retained only as long as needed to deliver the response, typically under 24 hours, and are then deleted.
• Crash and usage event data is retained for up to 12 months.
• Local data on your device persists until you delete it or uninstall the App.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Since the App does not require an account, most rights are exercised by uninstalling the App, which removes all local data, or by contacting us.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 17+ and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission. However, no system is fully secure. The App does not encrypt data beyond what your operating system and the underlying network protocols provide. We are not responsible for data loss or theft caused by misuse of the App or compromise of third-party services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
12. Subscriptions
The App may offer optional in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions. If applicable:
• Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellations are managed in your iTunes / Google Play account settings.
• Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited if you purchase the paid version during the trial.
