My research interests: Exact and Approximation Algorithms, Computational Geometry, Operations Research.

Primarily, my Ph.D. thesis work is on solving obnoxious facility location problems and dispersion problems in the plane. While solving these problems, in the literature, the facilities are usually modeled as disks in the Euclidean plane. Many of these problems are NP-hard. We are investigating some generalized and restricted variants of these problems by developing exact and approximation algorithms.
