University of Notre Dame
I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame, under the supervision of Prof. Gábor Székelyhidi and Prof. Nicholas Edelen. My research focuses on minimal surfaces and geometric flows. Specifically, I am investigating perturbations of "nice" minimal hypercones by analyzing the minimal surface equation within the Hardt-Simon foliation. This work aims to deepen the understanding of singular minimal cones and the perturbations of minimal cones.
I aspire to delve into geometric analysis and minimal surfaces, employing various methods from geometry and analysis. In the long term, I would also like to explore the practical applications of geometry in real-world contexts.
My research at Notre Dame has been on studying perturbations of Quadratic cones. The article constructs minimal surfaces on Hardt-Simon surfaces (these are smooth minimal surfaces near quadratic cones) and using it to prove an Dirichlet problem on quadratic cones.
Before this I did my BS-MS dual degree in mathematics at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, India.
