Virtual Family Night:

We welcome our families to participate in a virtual family night focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and preparing for college. Heads up! We will be doing a virtual engineering challenge. In preparation, please collect any loose pieces of mail/envelopes you may have (they will not be damaged).

Spring Programming:

Since many MESA chapters are unable to meet, we are offering some special programming online. Our Spring Programming is open to any MESA student who participated in MESA this year.

  • Week 1 - College Connections

        • Hear about the College Journey through the eyes of current college students! This talk will be interactive, so come prepared with questions!

  • Week 2 - Career Connections

        • Come talk with industry professionals about their careers and how to prepare for your STEM career. Come prepared with questions!

  • Week 3 - STEM Creations

        • Join MESA Mentors in STEM activities.

MESA Week: We're taking MESA Day virtual this year! Join us for a week of speaker sessions and activities, hosted in partnership with MESA partners, such as Portland Workforce Alliance and OMSI!

  • When: Sessions are held from 1-5 pm from May 11-14th.

      • 1:45pm - 2:15pm: College Hangout

      • 3:00pm - 4:00pm: STEM Spark

      • 4:15pm - 5:00pm : Inventor Spotlight

Competitions: We are still hosting the Health Heroes Pitch Competition as a virtual competition

TREC: The Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC) is hosting 2 summer programs for high school students this year! Both programs will be held at PSU, so students can stay in dorms! More information here!
