This Privacy Policy explains what information the Mix DJ Android app ("Mix DJ", "the app") processes, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are Mix DJ is published by Music Song Mobi, France ("we", "us"). Contact: danialsoftnlc@gmail.com
In short
Mix DJ has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
The app reads the music stored on your device so you can mix it. Your music never leaves your device.
Mixes you record are saved on your device only. The app never uses the microphone.
We use Google Firebase for anonymous usage statistics, crash reports and a small counter that enforces the free daily limit.
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
a. Your music library (stays on your device) To build your library, the app reads audio files on your device through Android's media library: title, artist, album, duration and file location. The app analyses these files on your device to detect BPM, key and waveform, and stores that analysis on your device to speed up loading. This requires the "music and audio" permission. None of this data is sent to us.
b. Recordings (stay on your device) When you record a mix, the app captures its own audio output and saves the file on your device (Music / Mix DJ Recordings). The app does not use the microphone. You control what you do with your recordings.
c. Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase) To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, the app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google. They collect: device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate country, in-app events (for example which screen was opened or which feature was used), crash and performance logs, and an app-instance identifier. Firebase Analytics may also use the Android advertising ID where it is available on your device. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
d. Free daily limit counter (Google Firebase) The free version of Mix DJ includes a limited number of playback minutes per day. To enforce this limit fairly across reinstalls, the app stores the number of free minutes used, together with your device's Android ID, in Firebase Cloud Firestore. No other information is stored with it.
e. Purchases and subscriptions (Google Play and RevenueCat) If you subscribe to Mix DJ Premium, the payment is processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, which receives from Google Play a purchase token, the product purchased, its status and a randomly generated app user ID. We never receive your card number or bank details.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
to provide the app and your subscription — performance of a contract;
to enforce the free daily limit and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in operating a fair service;
to fix crashes and improve the app — our legitimate interest;
usage statistics — our legitimate interest, or your consent where local law requires it.
Google LLC (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Firestore, Google Play Billing) — see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription status) — see https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. Mix DJ does not show ads.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Union. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Data on your device (library, analysis, recordings, settings) stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Usage statistics and crash reports are kept for no longer than 14 months.
The free daily limit counter is kept for up to 12 months after your last use of the app.
Subscription records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal obligations.
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email danialsoftnlc@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France this is the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr).
To delete data stored on your device, uninstall the app. To request deletion of the free-limit counter or of analytics data linked to your device, contact us at the address above.
Mix DJ is not directed at children under 15 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data sent to Firebase and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit. Access to these services is restricted to the people who operate the app.
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on the store listing.
