"We are all here because we had a feeling that there is something that lies beyond, which we have to seek. The feeling has come from the unconscious mind and you all want to find out something. Perhaps you do not know what you want to find out but the feeling is there - that whatever you are, you are not in a perfect condition - that you do not know what is your fulfilment. You’re seeking, actually, your fulfilment.
Now, when I am talking to you about Sahaja Yoga, I have to request you that this subject is to be understood with careful thought. It’s not a frivolous thing, that you can get to God. Neither it is possible for any human being to achieve it himself. This makes it impossible for people to understand but as I have told you before, you have become a human being without doing anything about it. You got your nose stuck up there without using any glue, without doing any sort of exercise or circus.
In the same way, if you have to become that higher being, it has to happen in a spontaneous manner, in a very spontaneous manner, by the grace of God. This is something very difficult to digest for human beings because we are ego-oriented. God has given us ego, to decide whether we choose the righteousness or we choose the wrong path."

"We are seeking the truth but what is the truth? The truth is that we are not this body. We are not these emotions, this intellect, this ego, these conditionings but we are the spirit, the pure spirit. This is one truth about ourselves.
The second one is that we are - can you hear me there...? There is a subtle power, which is described as the all-pervading power of God’s love, as Parama Chaitanya, as Gudran [ Note: word to be checked ], as - so many other words have been used for this power, which does all the living work.
Like we see the flowers, so beautiful as they are but we take them for granted. We don’t see how they have come from a little seed, how they are blossoming in these different colours. All this living work we take for granted. We have also taken our evolution for granted and everything that autonomous nervous system does, we have taken for granted. It’s a good thing, in a way, because it’s too much of a worry and botheration, if you start thinking why of everything. But there is a power, which does all these things."
