ViralStream is a content discovery platform designed to provide a seamless viewing experience. We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. All user interaction with the content remains anonymous.
2. Local Data Storage & Preferences
The App uses an on-device secure database (RoomDB) and SharedPreferences to enhance your experience. This data includes:
My Library: Videos you manually choose to save for later viewing.
Search History: Your recent search queries to provide quicker access.
App Preferences: Local settings such as theme or autoplay toggle.
Important: This data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data, it is not uploaded to any servers, and it is permanently erased if you delete the App or clear its data.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide our services, ViralStream utilizes trusted third-party providers:
Google AdMob: We use AdMob for monetization. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's IP address, advertising ID, and ad interaction data to serve relevant advertisements.
YouTube API Services: Our content discovery function is powered by YouTube API Services. By using ViralStream, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We use these APIs only to fetch publicly available metadata and play content via the official IFrame embed.
Firebase Authentication & Cloud Functions: We use Firebase to provide a secure and fast backend experience. Firebase may assign a unique anonymous identifier to your device to manage app functionality and caching.
4. Data Security
We implement commercially acceptable security measures to protect the integrity of the App. Since we do not collect or store personal data on any cloud servers, the risk of data breaches involving your personal identity is effectively eliminated.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our App is a general audience discovery tool. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly track or profile children.
