These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Vindex Signet ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and utilization of the Vindex Signet mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you signify unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not concur with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Application.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Vindex Signet. By using the Application, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Users between 13 and 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent.
Subject to your adherence to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Vindex Signet on iOS devices that you own or control, exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not permit you to:
Reproduce, duplicate, or redistribute the Application
Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive source code
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
Remove proprietary notices or labels
Utilize the Application for unlawful purposes
Circumvent security mechanisms or access controls
Transfer the license to any third party
You bear sole responsibility for:
Safeguarding your primary PIN and Disguise Mode credentials
Maintaining backups of your data
Ensuring the security of your device
The accuracy of information you input into the Application
Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Any consequences resulting from loss of your authentication credentials
IMPORTANT: Because Vindex Signet employs local-first architecture with strong encryption, we cannot recover your data if you forget your PIN or lose your device. There is no "forgot password" mechanism by design—this is a security feature, not a limitation.
Vindex Signet, including all code, design elements, graphics, text, and functionality, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. The "Vindex Signet" name and associated logos are our proprietary marks.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
MERCHANTABILITY
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
NON-INFRINGEMENT
ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY
UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
SECURITY AGAINST ALL POSSIBLE THREATS
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no cryptographic system is impenetrable. You acknowledge that you use the Application at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VINDEX SIGNET, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE
BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
LOSS OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE
UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON THE APPLICATION
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Application in the twelve months preceding the claim, which for a free application is zero dollars ($0.00).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vindex Signet and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the Application
Your infringement of any third party's rights
Any content you store within the Application
You agree not to utilize Vindex Signet to:
Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, threatening, or offensive content
Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities
Circumvent legal obligations or authorities
Store content depicting exploitation of minors
Violate applicable federal, state, or international laws
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Vindex Signet at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Application or any of its features.
We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be indicated through the Application or App Store listing. Your continued use following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Application.
We may terminate or suspend your access to Vindex Signet immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ceases immediately. You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Application.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY AS IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or your use of the Application shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in Delaware, or remotely as mutually agreed.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: You agree that disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
OPT-OUT: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by providing written notice to author.help@outlook.com.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content. However, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. The following Apple-specific provisions apply:
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services
In the event of failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund; Apple has no other warranty obligations
We (not Apple) are responsible for addressing product liability claims, legal compliance claims, and third-party intellectual property claims
You represent you are not located in a country subject to U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government prohibited parties list
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Vindex Signet. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
