Welcome to Vindex Signet ("we," "us," "our," or the "Application"). This Privacy Policy articulates how we handle information when you utilize our mobile application on iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or using Vindex Signet, you acknowledge the practices delineated in this document.
Vindex Signet is architected with privacy preservation as its foundational principle. We have engineered the Application to operate predominantly on your device, minimizing data transmission and maximizing your autonomy over personal information.
We want to be unequivocal: Vindex Signet does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any of the following:
Your passwords or credential data
Two-factor authentication seeds or codes
Vault contents (photos, documents, notes)
Browsing history or bookmarks
Personal identification information
Email addresses or phone numbers
Device contacts or calendar entries
Location data or GPS coordinates
Biometric data
Analytics or telemetry data
Advertising identifiers
Usage patterns or behavioral metrics
All sensitive information you input into Vindex Signet remains domiciled exclusively on your device.
The following information is stored only on your device, encrypted with AES-256 cryptographic protocols:
Credential Repository: Usernames, passwords, associated metadata, and generation preferences you voluntarily input.
Authentication Tokens: TOTP seeds and configuration parameters for two-factor authentication accounts you add.
Vault Contents: Photos, documents, notes, and other materials you deposit into the encrypted vault.
Browsing Artifacts: History, bookmarks, and tab information from the integrated private browser.
Application Preferences: Settings, PIN configuration, Disguise Mode parameters, and user interface selections.
This information never transmits to our servers because we do not operate servers that receive your personal data.
If you elect to enable iCloud synchronization, your encrypted data may be replicated to your personal iCloud account for backup and multi-device access purposes. This transaction occurs exclusively between your device and Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
We do not access, view, or process this data
Synchronization utilizes Apple's end-to-end encryption where applicable
This feature is entirely discretionary and disabled by default
You may disable synchronization at any moment through application settings
Your use of iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
When you download Vindex Signet from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information per their own policies. We may receive aggregated, anonymized information from Apple regarding downloads, crashes, or reviews. This information cannot be used to identify individual users.
Vindex Signet does not integrate with third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking services. The Application does not contain software development kits (SDKs) that transmit your information to external parties.
The private browser component may connect to websites you voluntarily navigate to. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, over which we exercise no control.
Vindex Signet is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the Application, please contact us and we will take appropriate remediation measures. This provision complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act grants you specific rights regarding personal information. However, because Vindex Signet does not collect personal information, we have no data to disclose, delete, or transfer. Specifically:
Right to Know: We do not collect personal information
Right to Delete: You may delete all data by uninstalling the Application
Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information
Right to Non-Discrimination: We provide identical service to all users
Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with comprehensive privacy legislation are afforded analogous protections. As Vindex Signet does not collect personal information, these rights are functionally inapplicable, though we remain committed to the principles underlying such legislation.
Although we do not store your data on external servers, we have implemented robust security measures within the Application itself:
AES-256 encryption for all vault contents
Secure Enclave utilization for cryptographic keys (where available)
PIN authentication with configurable session timeouts
Automatic clipboard clearance after specified intervals
Disguise Mode for scenarios requiring device sharing
Local biometric authentication integration
Because we do not collect your data, we do not retain it. All information resides on your device for as long as you maintain the Application installed. Uninstalling Vindex Signet will remove all locally stored data from your device.
Vindex Signet is primarily intended for users in the United States. If you access the Application from other jurisdictions, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Modifications will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the document's inception. Material changes will be communicated through the Application or the App Store listing. Continued use of Vindex Signet subsequent to modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
