About me

I am currently an Acting instructor at University of Washington School of Medicine and working on developing tools for measuring light induced changes in retina, defined as Optoretinogram (ORG). I completed my bachelor's and master's degree specialized in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. I completed my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering focused on Three dimensional volumetric imaging of cells using digital holographic microscopy at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Telangana, India. My research interests are in optical coherence tomography, digital holographic microscopy, coherence microscopy & quantitative phase imaging.
