RUTLAND, Ohio — Five days remain until the Village of Rutland's third annual Christmas in the Village event. The event is scheduled to be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, beginning at 4:00 PM with the Rutland Christmas Parade, immediately followed by the Snow Ball dance at Rutland Civic Center at 4:30 PM. Santa Claus will greet children at the Center at 5:00 PM.
Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Jade Nutter is inviting members of the community to bring cookies to share at the concessions booth, and is asking children to bring their wish lists for Santa Claus. The Village will be serving hot-dogs, hot chocolate and a variety of concessions.
Line-up for the Rutland Christmas Parade will begin at 3:30 PM at the intersection of Brick Street, Depot Street and Main Street. Emergency vehicles will line-up on Brick Street, while trucks, parade floats and all-terrain vehicles will line-up on Depot Street.
