The Village Clerk-Fiscal Officer provides public notice of all executive orders, ordinances and resolutions. These public notices are communicated through a posting in the Rutland Civic Center-Village Hall, as well as businesses located within the Village of Rutland; and are made available through this Public Notice Portal. Public notices are posted to the Public Notice Portal the week of adoption of each executive order, ordinance and resolution. To view a public notice, click the appropriate type of public notice desired for review. It is important to note, however, public notices dated prior to January 1, 2020, are not currently published online. Please, contact the Office of the Village Clerk-Fiscal Officer to access these records.
Legislation
Legislation includes ordinances and resolutions passed by the Rutland Village Council, which governs both the internal affairs of the municipality, and the conduct of citizens.
The Office of the Village Clerk-Fiscal Officer is required by both Ohio law and the Rutland Municipal Code to publish succinct summary of each municipal ordinance or resolution passed by the Rutland Village Council.
Orders and Proclamations
The Mayor, from time to time, may issue executive orders and proclamations, including determinations, which govern the internal affairs of the municipality, and at times, the conduct of citizens. Additionally, statements as to the business affairs of the Village may also be released.
The Office of the Village Clerk-Fiscal Officer is required by both Ohio law and the Rutland Municipal Code to publish a succinct summary of all orders and proclamations required by law or ordinance to be published.
Reports, Statements and Other Notices
The Village is required by law to issue various reports and statements as to the condition of its business and financial affairs. In addition, from time to time, the Village opportunities may arise for the bidding of materials and services.
