Dr. Vikram Singh has completed his M.Sc. in Physics (Electronics) and earned his Ph.D. from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) India and has also been awarded a research fellowship.
He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at St. John's College Agra and has more than 16 years of experience in teaching and research. Dr. Singh has published over 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented more than 30 research papers, including invited talks, at national and international conferences and workshops.
His research field includes the study of natural geophysical phenomena such as seismic activities, lightning, and solar activity by monitoring ULF and VLF man-made and natural signals. His work also encompasses space weather, atmospheric parameters, and satellite-based data such as TEC, AOD, and atmospheric temperature.
Dr. Singh has extensive international exposure and has visited several countries, including Japan, United States, France, Indonesia, and Singapore, for academic and research collaborations. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Electro-Communications Tokyo, Japan.
He was honored with the Young Scientist Award by Indian Space Research Organisation during National Space Science Symposium 2006. He was a member of a distinguished group that met A. P. J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan to discuss seismo-electromagnetics. He has also been associated with prestigious scientific bodies such as the American Geophysical Union and the Japan Geoscience Union.
