What We Do

We are Viewfinders Photography Club of Brussels, an enthusiastic group of photographers with a wide range of backgrounds, nationalities and photographic abilities and interests, using English as a common language. With about 100 members, Viewfinders membership is open to anyone with an interest in the photographic image.

Viewfinders holds monthly meetings from September until June, normally on a mid-month Wednesday evening. Usually a guest speaker will be present (you can find links to the websites of some of our past speakers on the "Speakers" page). Short presentations on photographic technique, often by other club members, are also regular features. We organise two Photography Challenges (which are judged by an external guest and also by the members present at the meeting) and one "Assignment" per year, as well as other "Members' Portfolio" evenings throughout the year.

We organise special events, photographic outings and visits during the year. The club organizes a major bi-annual exhibition of members' work at a prestigious location, with occasional smaller exhibitions at other locations. (Take a virtual trip around some of our exhibitions here).

Some of our members run Workshop classes - see Resources
