Vidya Kamate

Hi. Thanks for visiting my webpage. I am a financial economist (Manager Research) at Strategic Research Unit, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai.

My research interests lie in fixed income securities, applied microeconomics and derivatives markets. Some of my current work focuses on the impact of unconventional monetary policy tools on financial markets. I am also working on issues related to microstructure of OTC derivative markets.

Prior to joining the Reserve Bank of India, I worked as a Senior Economist in Powerlytics Inc. (a fin tech start up), USA.

I have received my Ph.D. in Finance from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
