This Privacy Policy explains how VidGlow ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares your Personal Data when you use the VidGlow mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").
"Personal Data" means any information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable individual. By using VidGlow, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate, improve, and secure our Services through the following channels:
A. Information You Provide Directly
●Photos and Images: Uploaded strictly upon your explicit permission to enable requested AI features (e.g., photo enhancement, avatar generation). You warrant that you have obtained all necessary, explicit prior permissions from any third-party individuals before uploading content that depicts their identifiable face, portrait, or personal information.
●Gender Preference: Selected to customize specific AI avatar outputs. Not used for identity verification or profiling.
●Customer Support: Your name, email address, message content, and diagnostic details when you contact us.
B. Information Collected Automatically
To ensure app functionality, security, and performance, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
●Device & Technical Identifiers: Device model, OS version, language, screen resolution, IP address, Google Advertising ID (GAID), unique device identifiers, and crash/diagnostic logs.
●App Usage Data: Feature interactions, session duration, performance metrics, and error logs.
●Subscription Information: Purchase confirmations, subscription status, product IDs, and renewal dates. (Note: Payment details are processed exclusively by Google Play or official payment platforms; we never store credit card information).
3. Processing of Photos and Face Data
Some AI features require temporary analysis of facial characteristics ("Face Data").
●Purpose: Face Data is processed solely to deliver the specific AI output requested by you.
●Prohibitions: Face Data is never used to identify individuals, verify identity, build biometric/facial recognition databases, or train underlying AI models without explicit consent.
●Retention & Deletion: Face Data is processed in real time and deleted immediately after the requested processing is completed. We do not persist or store Face Data on permanent storage.
●Sharing & Security: We do not sell Face Data or uploaded photos. Data is processed in transient memory using encrypted channels and trusted cloud infrastructure bound by strict confidentiality.
4. How We Use Your Data
We process Personal Data under valid legal bases (contract performance, legal obligations, and legitimate interests) to:
●Deliver AI processing, account maintenance, and subscription synchronization.
●Optimize app performance, fix bugs, and enhance AI output quality.
●Respond to support inquiries and verify account issues.
●Protect platform integrity, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Use.
●Comply with legal requirements and regulatory requests.
5. Third-Party Services, SDKs, and Sharing
We do not sell your Personal Data. We share data only with trusted third parties necessary for app operations, including:
●Infrastructure & AI Providers: Cloud hosting and processing services acting strictly on our behalf.
●Analytics & Attribution: Partners (e.g., Firebase by Google, Adjust) analyzing app stability, marketing performance, and crash logs using anonymized device identifiers (such as GAID).
●Advertising Partners: Ad networks measuring ad delivery and performance (subject to consent where required by law).
Third-party services process your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
6. User Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation
VidGlow may allow users to generate, upload, post, or share content ("User Generated Content" or "UGC"). To ensure a safe community standards environment in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, all users must adhere to strict content rules.
A. Prohibited Content
Users are strictly prohibited from creating, uploading, or sharing UGC that contains or promotes:
●Sexually explicit content, pornography, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
●Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content exploiting or endangering minors.
●Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or defamation.
●Graphic violence, excessive gore, or promotion of self-harm and suicide.
●Illegal acts, fraudulent activity, or infringement of third-party intellectual property/privacy rights.
B. Content Moderation & Safety Measures
To combat objectionable content and abusive user behaviors, we deploy multi-layered safety mechanisms:
●Automated Filtering: Automated tools and AI safety filters to detect and prevent the processing or generation of prohibited prompts and images.
●In-App Reporting Mechanism: Users can easily report any objectionable UGC or abusive user directly within the App via the report button on the content/profile interface.
●User Blocking Mechanism: Users have the ability to block abusive users to prevent further interaction or viewing of their content.
●Human Review & Timely Action: Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant content, restrict AI features, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activities (such as CSAM) to law enforcement authorities without prior notice.
7. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy.
Account & Data Deletion Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your Personal Data:
●In-App Deletion: Navigate to Account → Settings → Delete Account to permanently delete your account and associated data.
●Email Deletion Request: If you cannot access the app, you may submit a deletion request by contacting us at service@vidglowai.com .
Upon verified deletion, user data will be permanently removed or anonymized, except where limited retention is required by law.
8. Data Security and International Transfers
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational security measures (including end-to-end network encryption and access controls) to protect your data. Your information may be processed in servers located outside your country of residence under standard contractual safeguards.
9. Children’s Privacy
VidGlow is not directed to children under 18 (or the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately for deletion.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified through in-app notices, updates to the "Last Updated" date, or direct communication where required by law.
