Privacy Policy — Video Splitter: Story Splitter
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Video Splitter: Story Splitter ("the App") is developed by Abbes El Ahrami. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, browsing history, or any other personally identifiable information. There is no account, no registration, and no sign-in.
All video processing (splitting, trimming, merging, watermarking, exporting) happens entirely on your device. Your videos are never uploaded to any server and never leave your phone.
The App asks for permission to save the exported video parts to your photo library ("Add Photos Only" access). When you pick a video, the system photo picker is used, which shares only the videos you explicitly select. The App cannot browse your photo library.
Your recent projects (video references and split settings) are stored only on your device so you can re-open them. Deleting a project in the App, or deleting the App itself, removes this data.
The App uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous usage data such as app launches, screen views, and feature interactions. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. Firebase Analytics does not collect your device advertising identifier (IDFA), and the App does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. No data is shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase history (such as subscription status and transaction receipts) to verify your subscription and unlock premium features. This data is handled by Apple and RevenueCat and is not linked to your identity. No payment details (such as credit card numbers) are collected or stored by the App or the developer.
For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The App may collect anonymous crash logs and performance data (such as app launch time) through Firebase to help us identify and fix technical issues. This data does not contain any personal information.
The App does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
If the App adds features in the future that change how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
