Searching for a google video editor usually means you want to cut a clip without installing anything. The usual suspects all want a signup before you can even trim. I ended up editing in the browser instead: drop the file, cut on a timeline, export. Vidione is what I use for quick cuts now. It runs in the tab and does not ask for a card just to try it. For anything longer than a few minutes I still split the work, but for the everyday case this replaced the desktop editor entirely.
