Privacy Policy — VideoDownloader
This Privacy Policy explains how Video Downloader handles information in the Video Downloader iOS app (Bundle ID com.app.videosaver).
1. Who We Are
Publisher: (insert the App Store Connect seller name)

2. Summary
• VideoDownloader lets you download files you choose from your own Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive account, and receive files from another device you own on the same Wi-Fi.
• It does not download video or audio from streaming websites or other companies’ video apps.
• VideoDownloader does not create its own user account.
• There are no ads. Video Downloader Pro is an in-app purchase: a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime unlock. Apple processes the payment. The developer does not receive your payment card details.
• VideoDownloader does not operate a server that stores your files.
3. Information Collected by the Developer
The developer does not receive your files, cloud password, transfer contents, or download history. This version does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
4. Cloud Accounts
Downloads lets you sign in to Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive and download files you select. Sign-in uses the system browser sheet. Access tokens are stored in the device Keychain and are used only to list and download the files you choose. Those services receive the requests required to perform that sign-in and download, under their own policies. You can sign out in the app. VideoDownloader does not require the Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive apps to be installed.
5. Local File Transfer
When you turn on Receiving, VideoDownloader runs a temporary server on your local network so another device you own can send a file directly to this device. Transfers are not routed through a cloud service we operate. The server stops when the app is no longer active or you leave the feature.
6. File Links
If you paste a Google Drive or Dropbox link to a file you are allowed to access, this device requests that file directly. If you paste an audio or video link from another website, the app rejects it and does not save the file.
7. Files and Storage
Imported and downloaded files are stored in the app’s local container. Completed transfer and download history is not retained. You can delete saved files in the Files tab. Removing the app deletes its local data according to iOS behavior.
8. Photos and Files Access
VideoDownloader uses the system Files and Photos pickers. The app receives only items you explicitly select. It does not request broad photo-library access.
9. On-Device Preferences
Appearance and similar settings are stored locally with UserDefaults.
10. Tracking, Analytics, Advertising, and Purchases
This version does not track you across apps or websites and does not show ads. Purchases use StoreKit. Product IDs are com.app.videosaver.week, com.app.videosaver.year, and com.app.videosaver.lifetime. A subscription renews until you cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
11. Children
VideoDownloader is a general-purpose file utility and is not directed to children.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated when the app’s behavior changes. The last-updated date will change when it does.
