I got my degree in Economics in 2021 and a Master's in Applied Economics in 2022 at the University of Alicante. Since March 2023, I have been pursuing a PhD in Economics from the University of Alcalá. Meanwhile, I am also pursuing a Master's degree in Academic staff of secondary education and high school, vocational training and language teaching from the University of Murcia, which I will complete by July 2025.
I first joined the University of Alcalá as a research assistant (RA) within the project "Agenda para la Transformación Turística Sostenible basada en la Innovación y la Competitividad" under the direction of Full Prof. María Jesús Such Devesa, who is also my thesis advisor alongside Prof. Patricia Aranda Cuéllar. Once the project ended, I continued my PhD studies without funding.
I was a guest researcher at the Instituto de Economía Internacional at the Universidad de Alicante from 02/11/2022 to 31/10/2023.
My main area of research is tourism economics. I am interested in analysing overtourism, short-term rental markets, and gentrification. I am also involved in the study of different topics related to tourism, sustainability, and energy.
My other research interests include household economics, which has characterised my Master's and Degree's final projects, "Multidimensional Middle-Class Index" and "Studying Poverty: AROPE statistics".
Although I am currently involved in different topics and projects on tourism, I am open to new collaborations even on other topics or fields.
