I currently hold a permanent position as scientific staff (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Institute of Algebraic Geometry of the Leibniz Universität Hannover.

I'm also the scientific coordinator of the "Research Training Group 2965 - from Geometry to numbers", funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and hosted by the Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Before that, I did my undergraduate studies and my PhD in Barcelona, at the Facultat de Matemàtiques i Estadística and the Centre de Formació Interdisciplinària Superior of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. I did my Master thesis (2008-2009) under the supervision of Maria Alberich Carramiñana about invariants associated to the polar germs of a plane curve singularity, and my PhD (2009-2013) under the supervision of Miguel Ángel Barja Yáñez and Juan Carlos Naranjo del Val about numerical invariants of irregular fibrations between compact complex manifolds, in particular families of projective curves.

Afterwards I was in Hannover, first three years (2013-2016) as a post-doc in the ERC Starting Grant of Matthias Schütt, and then four years (2016-2020) as a Junior Research  Group Leader associated to the Riemann Center for Geometry and Physics.

Finally, I was one year (2020-2021) a guest professor at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Here is a short CV.
