VibeStyles is a Chrome extension that helps developers extract layout and styling information from web pages. Your privacy is important to us. This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

DATA COLLECTION AND USAGE

VibeStyles does NOT collect or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

  • No Data Collection: We do not collect any user data, browsing history, or personal information

  • No External Servers: All processing happens locally in your browser - no data is sent to external servers

  • No Analytics: We do not use any analytics, tracking, or monitoring tools

  • No User Accounts: The extension does not require registration or user accounts

HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS

VibeStyles only accesses webpage content when you explicitly click to extract styles:

  • The extension reads the DOM structure and computed CSS styles of the current page

  • Extracted data is displayed in the extension popup

  • Data can be copied to your clipboard for use in your own projects

  • All data extraction happens entirely within your browser

  • No information leaves your device

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

The extension requires the following permissions to function:

  • activeTab: Allows the extension to read page content only when you click the extension icon and activate a feature. This is required to extract layout and styling information.

  • scripting: Required to inject the content script that traverses the DOM and extracts computed styles from elements on the page.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

VibeStyles does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external resources.

DATA STORAGE

The extension does not store any data persistently. When you close the extension popup, all extracted data is cleared from memory.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

VibeStyles does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The extension is designed for web developers and does not target children.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
