1. Core Principles: 100% Local Processing

• Audio & Text Privacy: All voice recordings, audio processing, and generated text transcriptions are performed entirely local to your device using on-device AI inference models.

• No Server Uploads: We do not host, store, or upload your audio files, transcripts, or notes to any external servers or third-party cloud platforms. Your data remains strictly under your control on your physical device.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

To support the ongoing maintenance and distribution of the App, VibeScribe integrates Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC.

While VibeScribe itself does not collect your personal data, the Google AdMob SDK embedded in the App may automatically collect and share certain technical data off the device for advertising, analytics, and security purposes. The specific data types collected include:

• Device or Other IDs: Unique identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID (AAID / AD_ID), Android ID, and basic device hardware metrics. This data is processed for ad personalization and fraud prevention.

• App Interactions: Anonymous metrics tracking how you interact with the displayed advertisements, including ad views, clicks, and interaction length, used strictly for measuring ad performance.

• App Information & Performance: Automated technical data, including crash logs and diagnostic metrics, utilized to monitor ad delivery performance, stability, and system errors.

3. Data Safety & Security Declarations

• Encryption in Transit: All technical data transmitted by third-party SDKs (such as Google AdMob) is fully encrypted in transit using secure communication protocols (HTTPS/TLS).

• User Control & Opt-Out: You retain full control over your data. You can reset or opt out of personalized interest-based advertising at any time through your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads on Android devices).

4. Permissions Used by the App

VibeScribe requests specific system permissions solely to execute its core offline functionalities:

1. Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required strictly to capture live audio for local transcription.

2. Storage / Media Permissions: Utilized strictly to allow users to locally import audio files or export generated text notes.

3. Foreground Service: Required to ensure stable, uninterrupted processing during continuous local transcription workflows.

5. Children's Privacy

VibeScribe does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take immediate corrective measures.
