VibeNEPSE is an offline mobile application designed to help users track and manage their NEPSE (Nepal Stock Exchange) portfolio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The app operates entirely offline.

• No account is required.

• No personal identifiers are collected.

• No analytics or tracking tools are used.

• No data is transmitted to any external server.

3. User-Imported Data

Users may import their NEPSE portfolio data (e.g., from MeroShare or other personal sources). This data:

• Is stored locally on your device.

• Is never uploaded or shared with us or any third party.

• Remains fully under your control.

4. Permissions

The app may request permission to access your file system (e.g., to import your portfolio file). This access is used only for that purpose, and the data stays on your device.

5. Third-Party Services

VibeNEPSE does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data.

6. Security

Because we do not collect or transmit data, your information is as secure as your device itself. We recommend keeping your device secured (e.g., with a screen lock or biometric authentication).

7. Unintentional Data Sharing (Disclaimer)

While we have designed VibeNEPSE to be offline and privacy-friendly, there is one limited exception:

When you view the LTP (Last Traded Price) of a stock, the app sends the stock symbol only (e.g., NABIL, NLIC) to fetch real-time pricing data from the public NEPSE website or a similar public source.

• No personal information, imported data, or any other user content is shared.

• The app does not store the fetched data or sent symbol.

• This network request is used only to display the latest price temporarily.

Please note that although the symbol itself is not personally identifiable, and no user data is ever transmitted, this limited external request technically involves a network call, which is why we include it here for full transparency.

We are committed to maintaining your privacy and will continue to ensure any such interactions remain minimal and secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if needed (e.g., if new features are added that require permissions or connectivity). Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
