Introduce Eucalyptus
The eucalyptus tree is a type of woody plant with oblong leaves containing essential oils, belonging to the Myrtaceae family, and is one of the main forest tree species in Vietnam today. Eucalyptus wood is a hard wood, with a higher volume (540–570 kg/m3) than other types of wood such as Vietnamese Acacia wood. Eucalyptus wood is mainly used as raw material for wood chip production for the paper industry, particle board and MDF board production

Origin: Wood is harvested from legally planted forests that are allowed to be harvested by Vietnam's Forest Proctection Department
“VFP eucalyptus firewood” with moisture < 15% will burn quickly, with little smoke, long burning time, and large heat output. When the firewood starts burning, it will make the characteristic clicking sounds of eucalyptus firewood
Test report show that eucalyptus firewood has a high heat value equivalent to oak wood, and low ash content. It is suitable for making firewood and camping firewood.
Wood harvesting Process “VFP eucalyptus firewood”
1. Choosing harvested trees that are 4-5 years old will give the highest wood density
2. After being harvested, they will be gathered at the yard and cut into 20 - 30 cm round logs as required
3. Firewood will be split into small pieces with a thickness of 4-5cm
Firewood will be splitted by hydraulic wood splitter or some other method
Naturally dried firewood has a moisture content of about 20-25%. When burning, there will be more smoke and steam released from the firewood compared to kiln dried firewood with a moisture content of <15%.
4. Remove water, sterilize wood, destroy fungi and bacteria in wood by dried industrial kiln
Under the influence of a high-temperature kiln, the firewood dries down to a moisture content of less than 15%.
“VFP Eucalyptus firewood” always tries to get the lowest humidity to remove smoke and steam
5. Đóng gói sản phẩm/ Packaging
Product packaging form according to customer requirements:
10 kg of firewood per box printed with logo, dimensions length x width x height = 40 x 30 x 20 cm
Firewood can be wrapped in PE plastic bags as required (Purpose to prevent moisture).
6. Giá bán và hình thức vận chuyển/ Price and Delivery
Finally, the firewood is transported to Hai Phong port by container truck. Then will be transported to INCHEON port or BUSAN port
Each 40HC container has a weight of 27,000 kg containing about 2,600 10 kg boxes of firewood.
