The Veterans Memorial Fair Association holds the annual Tazewell County Jr. Fair, a long-standing community event dedicated to youth development, agricultural education, and family engagement. As a member of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs, our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for young people to develop practical skills, strong work ethics, and confidence through hands-on projects and competition. Each year, local youth invest months preparing exhibits ranging from livestock and agriculture projects to sewing, baking, and STEM-based entries, all of which are showcased during our fair.

Our organization is committed to preserving agricultural traditions while also fostering the next generation of leaders in farming, skilled trades, and rural communities. Through exhibitor recognition, educational programming, and public engagement, we strive to create an environment where youth achievement is celebrated and lifelong skills are built.
