VeS-Go ("we", "our", "us") is a billing and invoicing application designed to help business owners create, manage, and share bills and customer records, with a focus on offline-first functionality. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using VeS-Go, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account using Email/Password or Google Sign-In, we collect:

Your name
Email address
Profile photo (if signing in with Google and available)

1.2 Business Information

To set up your business profile, we collect information you choose to provide, which may include:

Business name
Business address
Phone number
Business email
GSTIN (GST Identification Number), if applicable
PAN (Permanent Account Number), if applicable

1.3 Customer Information

When you add customers within the app to generate bills, we store the customer details you enter (such as name, phone number, and address) on your behalf. This information is provided and controlled by you as the business owner using the app.

1.4 Billing Data

Bills, invoices, and transaction records you create within the app are stored so you can view, retrieve, and share them later.

1.5 Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app usage analytics to help us improve app performance and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To enable core app features: creating bills, managing customers, and generating reports
To allow you to export and share bills as PDF or image files
To provide customer support
To improve app stability, performance, and features

3. Offline Functionality and Data Storage

VeS-Go is designed to work fully offline. Business, customer, and billing data you create is stored locally on your device so the app remains usable without an internet connection. Where cloud sync or backup features are enabled, data may also be securely stored using Firebase (Google Cloud services) to allow access across sessions or devices.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy standards.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
With your action: When you choose to share a bill (as image or PDF) via messaging apps, email, or other means, that sharing is initiated by you and governed by the receiving platform's own policies.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted storage and authentication provided by Firebase, to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account, business, customer, and billing information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the app's features. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can access, update, or delete your business and customer information directly within the app.
You can request full account deletion by contacting our support team.
You can revoke Google Sign-In access at any time via your Google Account settings.

8. Children's Privacy

VeS-Go is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
