Some of you may remember the original "face books." A face book or facebook was a printed directory of photos of new freshmen class students found at some American colleges and universities. It would be distributed by school administrations at the start of the academic year, with the intention of helping students get to know each other. At the turn of the 21st century, some colleges and universities started to put their "face books" online. In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg and several classmates at Harvard University launched what would become what most people know as "Facebook," the online social media giant. The idea, of course, came from the traditional college face books.
Our own Westminster-Canterbury face book, or gallery, serves the same purpose as those original face books. Find the photo of that person you saw in the Cafe or on the Bridge but whose name you didn't get and click on the photo to see their bio!
