Documentary Series: America's Treasures
Take an exciting journey across America to learn about the national monuments and parks that pay tribute to our great country, its beauty, and history. Featuring over 25 historic and majestic locations in the 12-part documentary series, go coast to coast from Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve in Alaska to the Canaveral National Seashore in Florida. We will see Parts 1 to 3 which include "Fossil Worlds," "Ancient Cemeteries," and "The Anasazi Homeland."

Wine Tasting
The next wine tasting event will feature wines of Portugal and be held in the James River Grille on Tuesday, July 11th at 2PM. Tasting events are limited to 30 residents. Sign up with the Canterbury Cafe cashier. Sign up by Monday, July 10th.

July Trivia Night!
The always popular Trivia Night for July will be on Tuesday, July 18th in the Dogwood Dining Room. Seats are limited so form your 6-member team and sign up for a table. The sign-up book will be available after 10 AM on July 11th on the Bridge (by Library window).
Doors open at 4:45 PM and the bufet opens at 5 PM. Trivia will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson bring to life the untold true story about the origins of one of the most treasured Disney classics of all time. It focuses on the backstory behind the making of "Mary Poppins."
Walt Disney (Hanks) spent 20 years trying to obtain the rights to author P.L. Travers' (Thompson) book.

Wining with Dining

Solemates Walking Club: Sweetbriar College
Join the Solemates Walking Club for its rescheduled walk at Sweetbriar College. We will enjoy a pleasant walk, some on pavement with a hill, seeing lakes and the boathouse, as well as a gravel flat road, seeing the stables. We will then have lunch afterwards at the Briar Patch. Lunch is on your own. Sign-up at the Wellness Board located in the lobby.
