Social Hour

One of the big social events of each month at Westminster Canterbury is Social Hour. Always held on a Friday afternoon starting at 4:00 PM, Social Hour is held in the Commons and on the Bridge. The Arts & Entertainment Committee books groups to perform during this hour-long entertainment window and attendees bring their own rereshments, both drinks and snacks. 

In order to be close to the entertainment, attendees must reserve a table within the Commons area for parties of 8-10 by selecting a table in the book that is put out on the Bridge near the Library window by 10 AM on the Monday before a scheduled Friday Social Hour. 

Dining Services always plans a special Social Hour dinner menu in the Dogwood Dining Room and the James River Grille for this social event.

Social Hour Dinner

Those wanting to enjoy the special Social Hour menu can make a reservation in the James River Grille or Dogwood Dining Room up to two weeks before the Friday Social Hour.
