Steven Arcane's Curse

Steven Arcane

6 years ago, Steven Arcane’s dad, Michael Arcane, owned Arcane Industries. At the time, Mr. Arcane was experimenting with smoke and how to manipulate it, in hopes of stopping the recent fires. He started a small, controlled fire, and he tried redirecting the smoke, but it backfired. This caused an explosion, killing Mr. Arcane, but his experiment survived, and passed on to his son, both as an ability, and a curse. Steven can successfully manipulate any smoke to his will, but in return, his entire body was turned into compacted smoke. This happened when Steven was 13 years old.

Steven is now 19 years old, and he is doing his own experiments in an attempt to turn himself back into a human. He has been trying to find a cure since he was 15 years old, but so far, to no success. Not much people know about Steven because he keeps a lot of secrets. He is an expert at avoiding questions, and he tends to keep to himself.

When he does finally create the antidote, he plans on making sure that he can “toggle on and off” his smoke body and abilities as he sees fit. He thinks that it came in very handy once he got used to it, but he wants his body back.
