Money you receive from other people or merchants on Venmo will remain in your Venmo account until you transfer or spend it. You can transfer that money from your Venmo account to a connected bank with just a few steps. Read on for details.
If you've already added a bank to your Venmo account and verified it, you're ready to send money to your bank.
Follow these steps in the Venmo app to initiate a transfer:
Go to the Me tab
Tap the Add or Transfer button under "Wallet" (some users may see Manage instead)
Enter or edit the amount you want to transfer from Venmo to your bank
Select your transfer method ("Instant" or "1-3 biz days") and take note of any fees applied
Confirm your transfer details by tapping the green "Transfer" button
You can transfer money to your bank account if you're using a computer. Just follow these steps:
Sign in to your Venmo account at venmo.com/account/sign-in
Click "Transfer balance" from the sidebar
Enter or edit the amount you want to transfer from Venmo to your bank
Select your transfer method ("Instant" or "1-3 biz days") and take note of any fees applied
Confirm your transfer details
